Feature
Instructions

  • – The following functionality is accessible only by navigating the application in the Create feature:

    Open Create

    1) Launch the application or select Create on the bottom left of the Tab bar (Bottom of the screen)

    Creating A Moment

    1) Drag the center white dot up for a Good Moment, or down for a Bad Moment.

    2) As you slide up or down, you’ll see an ever-expanding list of synonyms related to the two words: good can mean many different things, as can bad. We’ve provided you a short list for two, nearly infinite, emotions.

    3) To continue simply release your finger, and the emotion will be selected.

    * Although we provide a list of synonyms for both good and bad, all that is recorded is whether the Moment is good or bad – the other words are just there to get you thinking: To what extent do you actually feel? This brief period of reflection is essential to accurately recording your Moment.

Give Your Moment a Title (Optional)

    1) Tap on the words “Moment Title” to change the title of the Moment.

    2) A keyboard will be launched. When you’re done, select “Done.”

    3) Your title should now be updated.

    4) If you elect not to add a title, the title will appear blank once you submit the Moment.

    Provide a Description/Details (Optional)

    1) At the bottom of the window, select the “+ Add Details” icon to add details to your Moment. Whether you intend for it to be private or shared with a friend, write something that allows it to be remembered later.

    2) When you’re done writing (or if you choose not to), select “Done.”

    Add Picture(s) (Optional)

    1) If you added details to the Moment already, select the camera icon above the details. If you didn’t add details yet, within the center box, tap on the center camera icon. Adding a picture further enhances the memory.

    2) If you haven’t already, enable the application to use your camera; this is the only way a picture can be taken, or your picture library can be accessed.

    3) Either take a picture or select a previously taken picture.

** You may include multiple pictures in the Moment if you’d like.

    4) Select, “Use Photo”

    5) Select, “Done”

    6) This will attach a picture or pictures to your Moment.

    Adjusting the Time

    1) Select the time icon (directly below the share icon) in the top right corner of the screen

    2) Adjust the date and time by scrolling through the appropriate columns.

    3) Select, “Done.”

    Sharing with Friends (Optional)

    1) From the “Add Moment” window, select the icon in the top right corner.

    2) Select the name of the friend or friends with whom you wish to share with. If they have been successfully chosen, their picture will be replaced with a yellow check.

    3) Select Done.

    4) If friends have been successfully chosen, this will change the bottom center bar to reflect “Share and Submit.”

** If it was shared, only you and that friend(s) can see it. If it was not shared, only you can see it

    Submit

    1) Select either “Submit” if you do not want to share the Moment with another person, or “Share and Submit” if you’ve decided to Share it.

    2) Click on the name of the person you wish to share your Moment with. You may share it with as many people as you’d like.

    3) Once a person has been selected, an orange check will replace their icon picture. If the orange check is not present, it means the friend has not been selected and nothing will be shared with them.

    4) Once you’ve selected all the people you’d like to share it with, select “Send” in the top right corner of the screen.

** Further, if you select “Close,” your entire Moment will be erased and will not be recorded. Neither you nor your friends will see it.

You are now taken to Metrics, a sub-feature of Mirror

Your Score, Good Moments, and list of Moments at the bottom of the screen are now updated to reflect your activity (we’ll cover the details of these in Mirror Instructions)
